We understand that parents seek the highest level of care for their family, and we’re committed to delivering that. We tend to our smaller patients with a gentle, effective approach. Equally as important, we keep you in the loop so you can help implement a good dental hygiene routine at home as well.
Sedation Options
While we hope your child is ready and willing to visit the dentist every six months, we understand that sometimes that just isn’t the reality. If your little one struggles with dental anxiety, we also offer oral sedation to help them sit back and relax throughout their treatment. This sedation option is administered in the form of a liquid that they drink approximately 10-15 minutes prior to their appointment. It’s pain-free and wears off shortly after the visit. If sitting still in the dental chair is the problem, we also offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to easily relax them throughout their treatment. To reverse the effects of nitrous oxide (laughing gas), they will simply have to breathe oxygen for a few minutes after the soft mask is removed. Dr. Dailey has completed intensive training in Pediatric Sedation Dentistry through the DOCS Education organization and will treat your child with the utmost precision and patience.
